Many of our Optometrist have 20 – 30 years of experience. Some are also therapeutically qualified, which means they can write prescriptions for common eye conditions such as dry eye and conjunctivitis.
Naomi Keast – Optometrist BOptom (UNSW)
Naomi has been an Optometrist for 20 years after graduating from UNSW. Naomi has been part of the BPW team since the establishment of the Kempsey practice 17 years ago and loves the on-going continuity and contact with all of her patients and their families. “Being part of this large community from the beaches to the bush is very rewarding. We have such a diverse practice ranging from children, teens, the elderly and those people whose arms are ‘not quite long enough’.” Naomi loves the Kempsey area and is an integral part of the health care professionals servicing the Macleay Valley.
Colleen Cooper – Optometric Assistant
Colleen has been with Baker Payne Webb for 6 years. She has lived in Kempsey for 40 years and enjoys meeting new people and has vast customer service experience. Colleen loves witnessing the changing trends in eyewear fashion and the ever changing technology within Optometry. She finds dealing with the Reps and purchasing new stock very exciting. Colleen loves the personal approach that being a “local” can bring and knows many of the patients on a first name basis which adds to the friendly service offered at BPW, Kempsey.
Kristie Ardetti – Receptionist
Kristie has worked part-time for Baker Payne Webb for the past 4 years. She was born in Kempsey and finds working within the optometry industry fascinating from the medical side of things and adores the every changing eyewear fashions. Kristie has an eye for finding the perfect frame for every face. Kristie loves the friendly community of the Kempsey Macleay Valley and is looking forward to raising her young family here while being part of our team at BPW Kempsey.
